Welcome back. Today I'm choosing to write about a subject that really confuses most people.
It really has to do with being consistent in your business. BUT...most people really confuse the subject of staying consistent with doing all types of meaningless work day-in-day-out.
Through my many years of experience I found there are really on 3 things that separate people who do well from people who don't in our industry. And it has nothing to do with talent or even work ethic.

Ok - so here goes. Here are the 3 Things
Thing #1: Amazing Networkers Write Down A List Of Things To Do
Alright....so you probably didn't fall out of your seat for that one but it baffles me how many people get this wrong.
Making looooooong task list will usually get you nowhere. And just trying to remember will get you nowhere as well.
This is what I do. Before I go to bed I make a list of 5 things I have to do the next day. I write them down on a note pad and as soon as I'm up I know exactly what to do.
One of my recent task lists looked just like this one:
1. Submit a new post to my blog - Current Market Culture
2. Speak to 10 prospects
3. Send out a press release
4. Attend Internet Marketing Seminar
5. Pick up new issue of Inc magazine from book store
If you can do this every night and actually complete the tasks the next day, you WILL see amazing results.
Thing #2: Amazing Networkers Stay Focused On 1 Thing at A Time.
I DO NOT BELIEVE IN MULTITASKING...
You really have to get this one if you're going to be successful in this industry
Doing to many things at one will result in a poor job overall - but you don't need me to tell you that. You might finish the job - but it'll likely be a poor one.
Ever talked on the phone with a friend who was doing too much at once. Your phone call was probably really annoying wasn't it?
I won't bother getting into much detail here, but the key is to be FOCUSED!
Thing #3: Amazing Networker Keep Their Promises
This is a tough one for most all people. Most everyone forgets how much you can damage your reputation by not following through on your promises.
Staying true to your word means keeping your promises to yourself and the people you work with.
If you promise to drop off that book your borrowed - then just do it. Each day is another day to building a long lasting relationship with those around.
Building relationships are all about building trust. You can easily build trust with someone through little things like returning phone calls.
So...that's pretty much it!
Practice these 3 habits and watch your results explode. But won't happen overnight - and that's why you have to keep at it.
You have to understand that there is no magic button to push, no creative marketing system to generate you leads, or secret script that will make your a superstar.
You will be great if you can keep at this every day.
My challenge to you is to do these 3 Things everyday for the next month. And remember, successful people all had to start somewhere - they key is in P-R-A-C-T-I-C-E.
